    Terms and conditions for teleradiology services typically cover patient data privacy and security, service scope, fees and billing, cancellation policies, and liability. Key elements include patient consent, the handling of patient health information according to legal and ethical standards, and the client's responsibility for all fees, including insurance copays and deductibles. The terms also define acceptable use, specify the services that are or are not provided, and outline the process for reports and communication. 


    Service and scope


    • Service description: A clear definition of the medical services provided, such as diagnostic imaging, interpretations of scans by Indian/Western or USA board certified Radiologists.
    • Limitations: A disclaimer that the services are subject to the patient's own assessment of their suitability and that they are for informational purposes, not a guarantee of absolute accuracy or completeness.
    • Emergency services: An explicit statement that teleradiology services are not for emergency situations. 

    Patient data and privacy

    • Confidentiality: A commitment to protecting patient information within legal and ethical frameworks, including security protocols to ensure privacy and data integrity.
    • Data access: A clear outline of which patient data will be shared, under what conditions, and with whom, with access restricted to authorized personnel.
    • Reporting: Information on how reports will be delivered to both the patient and their referring doctor, and the inclusion of the radiologist's name on the report. 

    Fees, billing, and insurance

    • Financial responsibility: The patient/outsourcing group is ultimately responsible for all fees, and as per the agreed pricing invoices will be shared for payments by TeleScan Radiology.
    • Insurance claims: The patient is responsible for verifying their coverage and obtaining any necessary pre-authorizations.
    • Payment: A breakdown of acceptable payment methods and potential collection fees for unpaid balances. 

    Liability and legal

    • Liability limits: Clauses that limit the company's liability for issues related to third-party websites or services.
    • Patient action: A statement of the patient's right to take legal action if harmed.
    • Professional liability: The requirement for the company to have professional liability insurance or a similar arrangement. 

    User and website terms

    • User conduct: A statement that the user must provide accurate information and is responsible for their account.
    • Website use: Restrictions on how the user can interact with the service, including prohibitions against unlawful or unauthorized use, and a statement that content is proprietary.

    • Through queries or expressions of interest or registration by clicking on “Join our Community [ Or Similar] ”, the following personal data are collected: Name, postal address, nationality, gender, e-mail address, date of birth, occupation, telephone number and the name of your organization.
    • Data relating to users’ experience, skill acquisition
      Some Personal Data is automatically collected when you use our Services or browse our website, such as the following: IP address, Device identifiers, Web browser information, Page view statistics, browsing history, Usage information and click tracking, Cookies and Usage Data

    • TeleScan services setup as mentioned on our portal;

    As a participant, your basic data, user-generated content, and contributions posted onto the portal /platform will be visible to the other users as required.

    Access to your data may be given on a need-to-know basis for project/service synchronization.

    How long do we keep your data?

    On PACS 30 Days, we will not retain your data for longer than necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this privacy statement.

    Personal data will be kept only as long as necessary and up to a maximum of five years to respond to the query and/or expression of interest.

    What are your rights concerning your data and how can you exercise rectification of data concerning you?

    You have the right to:

    • Request a rectification of your data where necessary or correct yourself in your profile;
    • Request the erasure of your data;
    • Request the restriction of the processing of your data;

    Transfer of Data

    Return and Refund Policy to buyers.


    • Terms of return within 10-15 days once refund is initiated with acceptance over email.
    • Once Refund process initiated amount will be reflected on the original payment gateway or customer’s bank account.
    • Valid reason for refund.e.g. Quality issues that will pass through QA process.
    • For refund process email should be sent to info@telescanradiology.in with all details and attachements.
    • Once team will receive an email, internal audit will done and once issue found at service provider end, as per agreed terms refund will be initiated that may include 30% to 60% depending on issues.
